SCHOLARSHIPS

All scholarship funds formerly held by the Northern Utah USBC Association (NUUSBCA) were transferred to the SMART (Scholarship Management and Accounting Reports for Tenpins) Program.  This transfer occurred in June 2008.  The scholarship funds transferred included ONLY scholarships issued by the Northern Utah YABA (NUYABA) and the NUUSBCA.  Scholarships issued by entities other than NUYABA or NUUSBCA (most notably Utah State YABA, Coke and Pepsi) were not included because we do not manage those funds.

All scholarships awarded by the NUUSBCA after June 2008 are also deposited to SMART; usually within 30 days of award.

SMART mails a letter to the bowler each time they receive a scholarship deposit to their account.  This letter includes the bowlers SMART account number and password as well as instructions and other information.  If you cannot locate your letter contact SMART via email at smart@bowl.com or by phone at (800) 514-BOWL, ext. 3168.

PLEASE NOTE: Scholarships issued by entities other than NUYABA and NUUSBCA may not be included in your SMART account.  In particular note that scholarships issued by the Utah State YABA are not currently deposited at SMART.  To access these scholarships contact the Utah State Scholarship Director, Patty Fest.  Patty can be reached via email at Patty.Fest@PacifiCorp.com.
